Financial Planner
BA (Hons), CFP
I really love the ongoing relationships I am able to build as part of my role as a financial advisor.
Meeting with interesting people every day, helping to avoid risk, and navigating you through a complex financial world is what I enjoy doing most.
I have had a strong interest in economics and finance since the early 1990’s which has formed the foundation of my professional life as a financial advisor.
The knowledge I gained studying my Financial Economics degree has given me a foundation of understanding that helps me to build and monitor investment portfolios.
As a financial adviser, I need to constantly keep on top of legislation and the changing dynamics of domestic and international markets.
I do this by monthly ‘Continuous Professional Development’ learning and also by engaging in courses specific to financial advisers.
In 2017 I finished my CFP ® (Certified Financial Planner) which is seen as an education benchmark for Financial Advisers.
I count myself lucky to live in a great part of Sydney with my wife Lorraine and 2 daughters.
You may bump into me walking the dog, on the football pitch playing for the Turramurra Over 35’s, or at a local golf club.
